Here Lieth the Smacks! Protected by the Ejaculation of Serpents was originally presented in compact disc form as the ass-end of 2005 as a collection in 27 tracks of excerpts from four chapters with a bonus collection of excerpts featuring rare home and live recordings, making for an epic descent into psychapoclyptic yowling, primitive prog, sexual democracy, and retro engineered anthemic rawking. We did it all at King's Island.
1-10, excerpts from chapter I: "Smells Like Hot Blood Tonight"
11-17, excerpts from chapter III: "Crash That Gash"
18-21, excerpts from chapter IV: "Glug, Glug, Glug"
*parts a, b, c & d of The Smacks! "Isolation, Death, Love & More Death in 4 Easy Lessons."
To honor the 10th anniversary of its release, Dogwhistle in its new version as a bandcamp entity is presenting the original studio tracks as this free download (as seen here), with bonus forthcoming volumes (also free) to come, expanding chapter II: "A Living Interlude" and "The Appendicks: rare home and live recordings" into a separate, album-length de facto "bonus disc" culled from our archives.
